During the construction of a new Lumen distribution centre in Laval, Grimard participated in the implementation of the following systems:
- A physical security system, which includes a multi-zone security system that alerts emergency services in case of an incident, and a fire alarm and a technical alarm from the building’s management systems
- A video-surveillance system covering the entire building, providing monitoring to ensure the physical safety of the staff and products
- An access-control system that efficiently covers every area of the building and, in the event of evacuation, can provide a list of people in each area
The Grimard team took on this challenge with success while respecting the client’s needs and timeline.
